Senior Accountant
Responsible for providing accounting support to the CFO. Primarily responsible for processing transactions, updating worksheet schedules for month end closing entries, and reconciling general ledger accounts.
Essential Functions
- Accounts Receivable Management - Aging analysis, Bad Debt Analysis and Collections
- Accounts Payable Management – Aging analysis, Vendor adds and updates
- Maintain the Fixed Asset and associated depreciation schedules; insure proper recording of new purchases and disposals as well as booking depreciation and amortization.
- Weekly metrics reporting to Management and Sales team – Bookings, Backlog and Revenue
- Support Sales team with monthly Commissions calculations and communications to Executive management and the sales team.
- Complete monthly consolidation of sites into consolidated financial reports for P&L, BS and Cash Flow.
- Support accounting controls by working with CFO to maintain the chart of accounts and define and maintain accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with end of month, quarter, and year close activities.
- Assist with preparation of annual budget for Sales by product category.
- Assist with providing documentation to satisfy annual audit data requests.

Travel
This position is 100% onsite in our Billerica office and requires no travel.
Education and Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 2+ years’ experience in an accounting role
- Fundamental understanding of financial accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- 1-3 years’ experience using QuickBooks and or NetSuite
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with WebExpense is a plus
- Experience with Avatax is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows
