Woodbridge Scientific, LLC is the National Distributor for the Rainbow Dynamic Dissolution Monitor® System

pION INC announces Woodbridge Scientific, LLC as their National Distributor for the Rainbow Dynamic Dissolution Monitor® System.

 pION INC today announced the appointment of Woodbridge Scientific, LLC of Woodbridge, CT as the exclusive national distributor for the Rainbow Dynamic Dissolution Monitor® System.   Led by former pION INC sales manager, Mark Sackler, Woodbridge Scientific, LLC is also a manufacturer’s representative for the entire pION line in much of the northeast U.S.

The Rainbow Dynamic Dissolution Monitor System uses UV-fiber optic technology to rapidly measure the concentration of drug substances in conventional dissolution baths without the need for liquid sampling.    The solid state photo diode arrays and fiber optics provide a level of reliability in a maintenance-free system unmatched in the industry.   The system was originally developed in the mid 1990’s in-house by scientists and Purdue Pharma, L.P.,  commercialized in 2001, and later acquired by pION INC.
