µDISS Profiler™ Workshop: Oct 21-22, 2010
snippet: This workshop is specifically designed for owners of our best-selling µDISS ProfilerTM, who wish to get the most from this powerful instrument. In this course we will cover the general theory behind small volume dissolution, how to set up experiments, standardization, using biorelevant dissolution media and how to use the software to it's fullest. Operators will better understand and interpret the dynamic changes that occur during dissolution and equilibration. Additional subjects of interest include intrinsic dissolution rate measurements from both powders, miniature discs and in comparison to the more conventional Wood's apparatus.
When you've completed the two day workshop, you will be more confident recognizing data problems, instrument diagnosis and maintenance. We'll finish up the workshop with fitting the dissolution profiles with bi-exponential functions and a lively, round table discussion.
